Justin Bieber Will Host 'Saturday Night Live'
UPDATE, 1/8: Billboard reports Justin Bieber will host and perform on the February 9th episode of Saturday Night Live. He'll be there to promote the January 29th release of his upcoming Believe Acoustic album. Below is the original article that ran on January 7.

Though nothing is set in stone, it looks very likely that Justin Bieber will host Saturday Night Live in 2013. While we hoped he'd tweet about those photos that seem to show him getting high, Bieber instead tweeted "maybe im hosting and performing on SNL...maybe. :)"

No official announcement has been made by NBC — and when Entertainment Weekly tried to reach out to a publicist for SNL, they never heard back — but we'll keep you updated as this story develops.

If the Biebs were to host the sketch comedy show, it would be his first time. In 2010, he served as musical guest, and appeared in a brief sketch alongside Tina Fey. Plenty of musicians have hosted in the past, including Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, and Justin Timberlake. And just last week, it was announced Adam Levine would host the show in the coming weeks. So Bieber doesn't need to look too hard for inspiration.

Here's a clip of Bieber on SNL back in 2010.

He can't act and he can't sing so he will fit right in with SNL that lost their mojo about 15 years ago.
