Emblem3 is an all-male group from Huntington Beach, California, consisting of Drew Chadwick on lead guitar and vocals, Wesley Stromberg on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Keaton Stromberg on bass and vocals. They joined The X Factor (2011) season 2, where they performed their original song, "Sunset Boulevard", during the audition. The group made it to the live show, as part of the top 16, under judge Simon Cowell's team. They were in the top 6 on "The X Factor" and placed in third place. After "The X Factor," they signed with SYCO Records and Columbia Records, Simon Cowell's record label. In April, 2013, Emblem3 released their first single, "Chloe (You're the One I Want)," which sold 35,000 digital downloads in its first two weeks and reached the Billboard Hot 100 at 93. The single became the fourth track on their debut album - released in July, 2013 - "Nothing To Lose," which sold 46,000 in its first week. Getting mixed reviews, the album placed #7 on the US Billboard 200. A month after the album's release, Emblem3 became Selena Gomez's opening act on her Stars Dance Tour. In December, 2013, the group announced their first national tour after having a homecoming performance on "The X Factor USA" by performing their song "Just For One Day." In May, 2014, Emblem3's label, SYCO Records, dropped them, turning the tables for the group. In June, 2014, the band released their first independent EP that was titled "Songs From the Couch Vol. 1." A few weeks after the EP's release, Emblem3's member Drew Chadwick announced that he would be leaving the band to pursue a solo career. In October, 2014, Emblem3 released a self-titled EP called "Forever Together." The duo toured again and then went silent on social media for several months until both Wesley and Keaton announced solo projects that were in the works, leaving Emblem3 on hiatus. Emblem3 isn't officially over, but within the same month, Keaton Stromberg formed a new band that released a single, "Never Getting Older" and Wesley Stromberg collaborated with friend Kenny Holland and released a single, "Fire."

[When asked about their previous Summer heartbreaks] Drew: I met a girl named Tiffany when I worked with Greenpeace. We had the perfect date, then I got a text that said, "Don't text me-I have a boyfriend." Wesley: I asked a girl to a carnival and she ditched me.
[Talking about their newest album] Wesley: I feel like we're a really good dynamic duo, and I'm really loving it. Everything has gone over really smoothly, because our amazing fans have shown us that there's nothing to worry about, and that it's going to be all good. Keaton: I've had to step up my vocal skills a lot, and we've been writing every day together. WE also both appreciate each other a lot more, and we've become much closer because of it.
[on what advice would they give themselves if they were 13 again] Keaton: That was only like four years ago for me! I wouldn't tell myself anything because what I did then got me to where I am today. if I could go back and tell myself something, I'm afraid I might have messed something up, LOL. Wesley: I would just tell myself to just work super hard, bro. That it will be all worth it. To keep the team together and keep working hard as a group. Which is still what we do! Drew: I would just say...you got this!
[When being interviewed in Atlantis] Drew: We feel so lucky to be here. It doesn't get much better than this. Wesley: I'm loving it. I just want to be in the water. [When asked if they were scared to try out the Challenger Slides] Keaton: No Way! Wesley: It's known for the slides. [Talking about their concert] Drew: I feel like it's going to be an awesome crowd.
[Keaton's response after being asked if cancer was being glamorized on TV]: Cancer is such a heavy thing and it's very heart-wrenching for anybody who's going through it. I don't think it's being done in a negative way at all.
[Drew talks about his friendship with Wesley and Keaton after leaving]: There doesn't need to be any hate or emotional baggage.
[Drew discusses his opinion on Emblem3's first single "Chloe"] I said I didn't like it. That kind of stuff got me in trouble.
[Drew on going solo] I had this ambition to express myself on a level deeper than "Hey, look at me! I'm hot and I'm dancing on stage!" I'm not trying to diss that. That works. But for me, it didn't.
[Drew's response after being asked if junk food ads should be banned in schools]: I think it's really important that you only put healthy foods in your body, so I do not think schools should be advertising junk food.
[Drew's response after being asked if celebrities are revealing way too much on Twitter]: Twitter holds an insane amount of untapped marketing potential for artists, but I think that overusing it can result in ruining the mystery of being an artist.
[Wesley's response after being asked if it was OK for fans to camp outside stars' homes]: We're with fans 24/7 via social media. When I'm home, I just want to be home.
[discussing Drew leaving the group] We're sad to see Drew go but he will always be our brother, and we couldn't be happier for him as he starts his new journey. Wesley: Drew sends hugs out to all the Emblems.
[when asked how they came up with their band name]: We needed an iconic word to represent our music, so we chose the word "emblem," and three is a powerful number.
[asked why they don't want to be called a boy band]: We record, write, rap, and produce. We're more than just a boy band!
[Discussing what's next with Emblem3] Emblem3 will always be a huge part of our lives, but we'd like to move on to the next chapter. We can't thank you all enough for the love and support you've given us since the beginning.
