[on albums] One of the problems is that they have become a collection of songs rather than a body of work and people can pick them apart. When I used to buy albums you had to listen to the whole thing. Obviously you could skip bits, but now people can just go and buy the odd song here and there. Albums aren't intended to be written like that.
I just like EPs. I like the fact you get a few songs - singles just seem so boring. It's nice to put a couple of extra tunes on there. The culture of people just buying one song, I don't really like that. I'd rather people bought a chunk of music instead of one song. It feels kind of disposable.
