Is Britney Spears Fired from 'The X Factor'?

Britney Spears be the next X Factor judges to get the old heave ho? Us Weekly seems to think so. The tabloid magazine has not one, not two, but three trusty unnamed sources who say that the "Toxic" singer won't be back next season.
One reason Spears might be getting the boot? Her hefty $15 million paycheck. "They paid all that for her to say 'amazing' and offer half-claps," one insider snarks. Another adds, "[Simon Cowell] wanted crazy Britney, but he got boring Britney."
Well yes, a head-shaving, umbrella-wielding Britney might have been more interesting, but does that really mean the pop star is getting fired? Simon Cowell has been supportive of the starlet throughout her run, telling reporters in October that Spears has been "a lot better than everybody thought... She's very engaged... She has been, I think, a very, very good judge."
