Middle of 5 children, brother of Emily Knight.
Younger brother of Yohanna Farrell-Knight.
Along with David Tennant, Elisabeth Sladen, John Leeson, Alexander Armstrong Nicholas Courtney, Matthew Smith and Lachele Carl, he is one of only eight actors to play the same character (Luke Smith) in both Doctor Who (2005) and The Sarah Jane Adventures (2007).
Presented the Childrens BAFTA award for Best Pre School Animation in London 30 November 2008.
