On his birth certificate, his name is Brian but he changed it to Bryan when he joined Westlife because he said it looked cooler. He reverted back to Brian in 2004 when he became a solo singer.

[You've never been tempted?] Nah, no interest in drugs at all. [Ever even smoked a spliff?] I smoke cigarettes and I drink, that's it. But if I had done anything else I wouldn't tell you! (laughs)
