Former Disney channel actor Michael Galeota has passed away at the age of 31, TMZ reports.

The former The Jersey star was checked into the hospital last week for abdominal pain but left on Wednesday against doctor’s orders.

Michael‘s friend became concerned and went to check on him at home over the weekend and found his body.

Michael had some health issues, including hypertension and high cholesterol, and was reportedly not following medical advice. The death is being attributed to “natural causes” at the moment, but an autopsy is pending.
