Penn Badgley Doesn't Want to Do TV Again

Penn Badgley speaks about his movie Cymbeline while attending a panel held at the Apple Store on Thursday evening (March 12) in the Soho neighborhood of New York City.
While the 28-year-old actor currently is starring on the NBC series The Slap, he says he will never do television again after this.
“It’s going to end up being my swan song for television because I don’t think I can do any more,” Penn said.
“It was a wink and a nod to my role in Gossip Girl,” Penn added. “I’m playing a guy who’s on a TV show, a hit TV show, and he’s also the front-singer in a band. So I was like, ‘Alright, this is so close to home that if anybody else plays it, it’s a joke anyway.’”
