Nick Jonas Works for Demi Lovato Now
February 4th, 2014
Those Disney kids stick together. Nick Jonas' first big job following the dissolution of his beloved band the Jonas Brothers is to act as musical and creative director of Demi Lovato's upcoming Neon Lights tour, as revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone this week.

"I'm overseeing video content, wardrobe, lighting and staging," Jonas says, "And then I'm extending into the musical side of things, which includes creating the arrangements for the songs. I'm building what Demi wanted, which is a show without stops and starts."

It's a pretty big gig — one that will have Jonas traveling up to Vancouver this week to prepare for the February 9 opening night. When he's not in rehearsals with the band, figuring out the lights and video details, he's working on a solo project: "I've got a lot of things in the pipeline right now and I'm waiting to release some news about my music and my next steps. It isn't quite locked in yet, but I have started making some music and now it's all about lining up the pieces."

Nick and Demi share the same manager, which just might be why she handled Joe Jonas' recent overshare to New York Magazine so diplomatically. Though Joe told an interviewer that Demi, along with Miley Cyrus, had peer-pressured him into smoking weed when he was 17, Demi chose to turn the other cheek. Watch her discuss the incident in an interview with Giuliana Rancic below. Spoiler alert: She has no recollection of ever smoking pot with Joe, since she must have been "chillin."
