Carter Ryan was born September 8, 2006 in Vancouver, British Columbia to Dorlyn and Carol Evancic. He has an older sister, Vanessa Rae Evancic, who as a young actress inspired Carter to start his acting career. He began commercial auditions at 8 months old and booked his first commercial shortly after. It wasn't until he was the age of 7 when he decided to start his acting career. Within a year he booked his first role as a Lead in a Feature Film, Her Infidelity (2015). Carter is known for his role as Cody on the popular show When Calls the Heart. He walked onto the streets of Hope Valley at the beginning of Season 3 and with his Credited role as a Series Regular, fans enjoyed watching Carter's character grow for 4 Seasons. Carter loves being on set and meeting new people, and he looks forward to a growing career.
