Mini Biography
Mike Vitar started acting at age 12, when a casting manager spotted him in line for a ride at a school carnival. After several roles as a child, such as The Sandlot (1993), D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994) and D3: The Mighty Ducks (1996), and a couple guest roles on TV series as a teenager, he discontinued his professional acting career.


Trivia
  • Is one of three children. He has an older brother Pablo (d. 2008) and an older sister Elizabeth.
  • He and older brother Pablo P. Vitar played the same character (at different ages) in The Sandlot (1993).
  • Worked for Gerber Ambulance in Torrance in 1996 as a stepping stool in the EMS to move on in his career as a firefighter.
  • As of 2018, he works as a firefighter in Los Angeles, California.
  • Has three children. Son, Eli was born on 12 March 2007; second son, Wesley on 30 April 2009 and daughter Norah Paige on 31 January 2013.
  • In 2017, Mike Vitar plead guilty to the assault of an individual on a Halloween night in 2015. The victim sustained multiple injuries with some leaving life lasting effects. The victim sued Vitar and several other involved individuals successfully for over 7 million dollars in 2019.
  • Was bit in the leg by the dog playing Hercules on the filming of the chase scene.
