Kizzy McHugh was born in the Netherlands. She moved to the Island of Curaçao at the age of 4 years old and became a teen idol due to her poetry, theater shows, music hits and TV shows. She moved the US and graduated from Berklee College of music, but also took ballet and acting classes at the Boston Conservatory and at Emerson College. In Boson she became a popular TV personality hosting several TV, entertainment, music, and beauty shows. The Improper Bostonian Magazine named her one of 'Boston's Top Ten most eligible Bachelorettes' and she was featured on the cover of the magazine. Kizzy McHugh now lives in Holland where she is recording a highly anticipated solo album.

Before her popularity as an actress and TV personality in the US, Kizzy was a successful actress, TV host and recording artist with her own TV shows, stage shows, and hit songs in the Netherlands Antilles.
She first won 'Best Actress' at the age of 7, at the 'Voordrachts Webstrijd', the Annual Kids Acting Competition in Curacao in 1986.
